In this Customizing activity, you enter the average number of calendar days in a particular month. The authorities publish the number of calendar days that you must enter.

The Evaluate Rate for Absence Pay (UAFD) personnel calculation rule uses the average number of days per month to determine the daily rate that employees receive when they are on maternity leave.
