In this Customizing activity, you enter the number of calendar days in a particular year, less the official holidays. The authorities publish the number of calendar days that you are to use.

The Evaluate Rate for Absence Pay (UAFD) personnel calculation rule uses the number of calendar days to determine the daily rate that employees receive when they are absent, for example, due to vacation.
