In this Customizing activity, you customize absences that are relevant for social insurance reimbursement.

According to Ukrainian legislation, part of the absence (for example, the first five days for sick leave) or the whole absence (for example, maternity leave) is paid by the social insurance fund of Ukraine (FSSU). Absence is paid to en employee only when the FSSU has approved the payment. For this purpose, the absence is preliminarily calculated (using off-cycle payroll run or regular payroll run) and the amount of payment is sent to FSSU to be approved. When the FSSU approves the sick-leave payment, it is paid to the employee in the next regular payroll run.

If an absence is relevant for social insurance reimbursement, then, at the creation of the Absences (2001) infotype record, a corresponding record of the Additional Abs. Data (0082) infotype is created. The HRPAYUA_2001 Business Add-In (BAdI) implementation is responsible for the relationship between these two infotypes.

Enter absences that are relevant for social insurance reimbursement. To ensure that an absence is relevant for social insurance reimbursement, you must enter UA01 for the subtype.

You can also define a period when the absence is relevant for social insurance reimbursement.

For example, you can define that an absence is relevant for social insurance reimbursement only as of January 1, 2012.
