In this Customizing activity, you define the absence types that the system uses to process an employee's period of sickness.

The absence types are based on the sickness certificate that employees give to their employers after a period of sickness.

During the payroll run, the payroll function UASI0 processes each of the absence types defined in this Customizing activity. For more information, see the documentation for the payroll function UASI0.
