OHAUA_GARN_003 - Enter Iterations for Calculation of Garnishment Fees

In this Customizing activity, you determine the maximum number of iterations that the system carries out when it calculates the bank and postal fees for garnishment documents.

If the system restricts garnishment deductions, for example, because the balance is less than the deduction in a given month, the system must calculate the garnishment fee that matches the new deduction. Since there is not a linear dependency between the deduction amount and the corresponding fee, the number of iterations required to calculate the fee can be large.

You use this setting to improve system performance by limiting the number of iterations to a relatively small number, for example, 5.
