OHAUA_PA_POM_P3_001 - Assign Attendance or Absence Types to Groups

In this Customizing activity, you assign absence types to the following groups:
| Group | Group Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| VA | Vacation using quota (name, work period) | Vacation for a period of work using the leave quota. The vacation is represented by the name of corresponding quota. |
| VB | Vacation using quota (work period) | Vacation for a period of work using the leave quota. The vacation is represented by the name of the corresponding absence type. |
| VC | Vacation not using quota | Vacation without using the leave quota. The vacation is represented by the name of the corresponding absence type. |
The report for printing the P-3 form for vacation order recognizes only those absence types that are assigned to one of these groups. The group to which you assign the vacation type determines how the data of the absence type is shown in the form.
Execute this Customizing activity and choose one of the following activities:
- To assign attendance or absence types to a specific group, proceed as follows:
- Choose the Assign Attendance or Absence Types to Groups activity.
- Enter the relevant personnel subarea grouping and the given attendance or absence group as required.
- Define the attendance or abcence types that you want to assign to the group and the period in which the assignment is valid.
- To assign a group to a specific attendance or absence type, proceed as follows:
- Choose the Assign Groups to Attendance or Absence Types activity.
- Enter the relevant personnel subarea grouping and the given attendance or absence type as required.
- Define the attendance or absence group that you want to assign to the attendance or absence type and the period in which the assignment is valid.
- You can also use this activity to check to which group a given attendance or absence type belongs.
