In this Customizing activity, you assign wage types to wage type codes.

In Payroll, the employee’s data is stored on wage type level. The reports that read payroll results, however, display data on wage type code level. This assignment allows the reports to group wage types in wage type codes.

You have defined wage type codes in the Define Wage Type Codes Customizing activity.
