In this Customizing activity, you determine the order in which reports read the data in the subtypes of the Documents and Certificates (0290) infotype.
Based on the priority of the subtype that you set in this Customizing activity, reports read the corresponding data stored in the infotype, starting with the subtypes that are assigned the highest priority.
The standard system contains the document groups that the reports in the standard system require. The reports are preconfigured to read the settings that you make for a given document group. For example, the Form 1DF (HUAL1DF0) report reads the settings that you make for the Identity Card for Form 1DF (IC) document group.
For each document group, you determine the order in which you want the system to read the subtypes in the Documents and Certificates (0290) infotype.
You want the report that prepares form 1DF to enter an employee's individual tax number (IIN) on the output form by reading an employee's taxpayer ID card (subtype UAIN). If, for example, the IIN in that subtype is incomplete, you want the system to enter an employee's passport number on form 1DF. To set up the system to read the subtypes in this order, you make the following entries for the UA Identity Card for Form 1DF (IC) document group:
