In this step you define parameters for periods of a bonus wage type. These periods are then used in average calculations for bonus wage types distribution. See BAdI: Bonus Periods Determination.
You assign Period Type and Period Number to a bonus wage type.
Period Type is the type of a period a bonus wage type is paid for. For example, Quarter, Half-year, etc.
Period Number is the number of the Period Type in a year. For example, third Quarter, first Half-year.
The validity period represents the period in which an average is calculated.
The standard SAP system contains sample entries that you can copy.
- Select New Entries.
- Enter the bonus wage type.
- Define validity dates and period parameters (Period Type and Number)
