In this Customizing activity, you can define how system messages appear in your system during processing of the New Averages.

You can choose from the following message settings:

  • You can change warnings to error messages (or vice versa).
  • You can switch off warnings and error messages (if a message configuration allows it).

Different specifications are possible for the online mode and for the batch input sessions processed in the background.

You can make the corresponding specifications for a client or, if required, also for the individual user.

The work area used for the New Average processing is HRPAYUALOG. The message range is from 401to 450.

  1. Select Edit> New Entries.
  2. Enter the following data:
  • Message number

In the input help of the MsgNo field, you can see which messages are available.

  • User name

If you enter a name in this field, the specifications only apply to this particular user. If you leave this field empty, the settings apply to all users within the client.

  • Message type

You can find out the permitted message types in the input help of the Onlineor BatchIfields.

  1. Save your entries. The accompanying message text is inserted automatically.
