In this Customizing activity, you assign a cumulation rule to a relevance rule. The relevance rule checks for wage types in the cumulation rule to determine which periods are relevant for calculation of averages.
In the Create Calculation Rules for Averages Customizing activity, you have created calculation rules for averages with relevance rules to which you assign cumulation rules.
In the Create Calculation Rules for Averages Customizing activity, you have assigned wage types to cumulation rules.
The standard system contains the following relevance rules assigned to cumulation rules:
- RELA - The relevance rule for accidents
- RELB - The relevance rule for maternity leave
- RELC - The relevance rule for sick leave
Check the relevance rules and if necessary, assign new cumulation rules to the relevance rules.
In the standard system, the RELC cumulation rule is assigned to RELC relevance rule. The wage type for vacation leave and other wage types are assigned to the RELC cumulation rule.
An employee takes sick leave from 05.07.2012. The system uses the previous six months to calculate the sick leave rate. In period 06.2012, the employee took a full month of vacation leave. The RELCrelevancy rule identifies period 06.2012 as a relevant period. The relevant periods are 01.2012 to 06.2012.
