OHAUORS030 - Split wage types after regrouping
SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this customizing activity, you can separate the amount portion referring to overpayment
from the original previous amount for wage types previously existing in the Results Table (RT) with
rate and hours, using the OVP: SPLIT WAGE TYPES AFTER REGROUPING(OVPSW) configuration option.
When you activate this option, the U.S. Overpayments Processing and Recovery (USCLM) payroll function is able to separate the amount portion referring to overpayment.
The original wage type will have a Variable Assignment(V0) with Variable assignment type(V0TYP) = 'H' and Variable assignment number(V0ZNR) = '1'. The wage type referring to the overpayment portion will have Variable assignment type = 'H' and Variable assignment number = '2'.
The USCLM payroll function may calculate additional amount for wage types previously existing in the Results Table (RT) with rate and hours.
Execute this Customizing activity and define the value of the OVP: SPLIT WAGE TYPES AFTER REGROUPING(OVPSW) configuration option to perform the redistribution of rate and hours by making the corresponding entry in Customer values for configuration options(V_T5F99K2) table view, according to the needs of your company. The possible values are as follows:
- ‘ON’(Split wage types after regrouping): With this option, the system splits result wage types, after rate and hours wage types redistribution.
- ‘OFF’(Do not split wage types after regrouping) (standard option): With this option, the system does not split result wage types, after rate and hours wage redistribution.
Given the following wage type in RT:
Wage Type |
/OVP |
Amount |
USD 100.00 |
Hours |
40 |
Rate |
2.5 |
USCLM calculated an additional USD 50.00 for this wage type.
Example 1
Configuration option OVPSW not configured or inactive
If the configuration option OVPSW is not configured in the system or set with value 'OFF' (Do not split wage types after regrouping), the behavior is kept and the wage type in RT will be:
Wage Type |
/OVP |
Amount |
USD 150.00 |
Hours |
40 |
Rate |
2.5 |
Example 2 |
Configuration option OVPSW active
When the configuration option is set with value 'ON' (Split wage types after regrouping), the RT after USCLM will be:
Wage Type |
/OVP |
Variable assignment type |
H |
Variable assignment number |
1 |
Amount |
USD 100.00 |
Hours |
40 |
Rate |
2.5 |

Additionally, payroll table V0 will also contain Variable Assignment Information (VINFO) field with value "O" for this variable assignment, indicating that it was generated by the overpayment function:
