OHAUSCSP360 - Disable automatic STD period creation in IT2001

In this Customizing activity, you disable the automatic STD period creation in the Absences(2001) infotype, by means of configuration option ABSTD. The possible values of configuration option ABSTD are as follows:

• 0 (default): Enable automatic STD period in IT2001

• 1: Disable automatic STD period in IT2001

In the standard system, the Short-Term Disability Periodsgroup box is filled in automatically in infotype Absences(2001), subtype 0201 (Short Term Disability).

The system fills in the periods based on the Short-Term Disability Plans set up in Customizing (see activity Establish and define short/long-term disability plans).

If you want to disable the automatic STD period in IT2001, execute this Customizing activity and change the value of configuration option ABSTD to '1'.

SAP only recommends that you do this if you need to replicate STD absences from a non-SAP system.

Note

When you change the value of ABSTD to '1', the standard system logic for automatically selecting the Indicator for manual modifications in IT2001 (subtype 0201) is deactivated. Therefore, you must ensure that the indicator is correctly filled based on the replication from the non-SAP system.
