As delivered, in order to process claims, the standard system executes the Payroll Driver under schema UCLM. Certain enterprises, however, have expressed the wish to process claims by means of a different schema. This step of the Implementation Guide enables your enterprise to create a customer-specific version of schema UCLM for use in claims processing.

If your enterprise wishes to use a schema other than UCLM to perform claims processing, then follow the instructions below. If your enterprise does not require a customer-specific version of schema UCLM, then you do not need to configure your system as instructed below.

  1. Execute this step of the Implementation Guide.
  2. On the next screen, choose Schema -> Copy.
  3. On the subsequent dialog box, in the To schema field, enter the name of the customer-specific schema (e.g. ZCLM) to be used during claims processing. Then choose Enter.
  4. If required, enter a development class for this schema, then choose Save.

Once you have completed this procedure, select Back to return to the Implementation Guide. Then proceed with the next step.
