OHAUSREP310 - Modify standard Payr. Driver variant used to process claims

As stated above, the standard system executes the Payroll Driver under schema UCLM to process claims. To this end, the system executes standard variant SAP_UCLM of the Payroll Driver to initiate claims processing. This step of the Implementation Guide enables your enterprise to modify that standard variant so that the Payroll Driver uses a customer-specific version of schema UCLM to process claims.

If your enterprise wishes to use a schema other than UCLM to perform claims processing, then follow the instructions below. If your enterprise does not require a customer-specific version of schema UCLM, then you do not need to configure your system as instructed below.

1. Execute this step of the Implementation Guide.
2. On the next screen, choose Goto -> Variants -> Get....
3. On the subsequent dialog box, choose variant SAP_UCLM.
4. On the screen that follows, replace entry UCLM in the Schema field with the name of the customer-specific schema (e.g. ZCLM) created in the previous IMG step. Then select Save as variant....
5. Under Variant name, enter the name of a customer-specific Payroll Driver variant (e.g. SAP_ZCLM) to be used during claims processing. Enter a description for this variant in the corresponding field, then choose Save.

Once you have completed this procedure, select Back to return to the Implementation Guide. Then proceed with the next step.
