In this step, you define the minimum wages and cash wages used to determine tip credit.

When calculating tip credit, the system uses the wage stored in Infotype 0008 (Basic Pay) as the employee's cash wage (cash wage is defined as minimum wage minus tip credit amount) and does not check against this table to see if this amount is the same. The cash wage entered here is for your information only.

  1. On the Change View "Minimum and cash wages for tip credit: Overview screen, choose New entries.
  2. Enter each tax authority in which your organization operates, along with whether the federal or state rule applies for calculating minimum wage, whether tip credit is allowed by that tax authority, the validity dates, the minimum wage valid for that authority, the cash wage valid for that authority, and the currency.
  3. Save your entries.
