Activate 3PR Evaluation Run parallel processing in HR Process Workbench
Previously, in the standard system, the Create Third-Party Remittance Evaluation Run (RPURME00) report is not able to process in parallel with HR Process Workbench.
In this Customizing activity, the process model executed via the HR Process Workbench, which is called by transaction PUST, has an additional parallel processing option.
In this activity, the program RPURME00 provides a program category (URME) for HR Process Models (Transactions PEST and PUST). This category has Parallel Processingset, which allows splitting the registered report in jobs.
Note 1: Use Set sizewhen configuring your process model (PEST) to define the maximum number of employees per job.
Note 2: Observe that this job splitting implies in a new process executed for each batch using a new Evaluation Run Number(RDATN) and Remittance Origin Link(REMKY).
Execute this Customizing activity and define the value of the 3PR01 (SYNCHRONOUS UPDATE IN RPURME00) configuration option by making the corresponding entry in table view Customer Values for Configuration Options(V_T5F99K2) according to the needs of your company. The possible values are as follows:
- OFF Asynchronous updates: This is the default option.
- ON Synchronous updates
IMPORTANT: To use RPURME00 in parallel mode with HR Process Model, set to ON the SYNCHRONOUS UPDATE IN RPURME00 (3PR01) configuration option in maintenance view V_T5F99K2. By setting it with value ON, each RPURME00 job will perform synchronous database updates (ABAP statement COMMIT WORK AND WAIT), preventing subsequent HR Process Model programs to start before all RPURME00 jobs are done
