In this Customizing activity, you define the value for the Employee Type Indicator field, to be sent to BSI TaxFactory.

This activity is relevant for all customers who use BSI TaxFactory version 10.0 and onwards.

The possible values for the Employee Type Indicator field are as follows:

  • EETYID 0: Active Regular Employee
  • EETYID 1: Non-Resident Threshold Employee
  • EETYID 4: Deceased Employee in the Private Sector
  • EETYID 5: Deceased Railroad Employee
  • EETYID 6: Deceased Employee in the Public Sector

where 'EETYID' stands for 'Employee Type Indicator' and 'X' is the one-digit Employee Type Indicator.

The system reports the employee type indicator 'X' on the BSI interface (in parameter 'EP:', line 'EPC'). If the employee is deceased, the system also reports the date of death (in parameter 'DT:', line 'EPC').

The system determines the employee type indicator and the date of death by means of feature 10EET.

In the standard system feature 10EET is not implemented, therefore, you must implement it in this activity according to the needs of your company.

Execute this activity and implement feature 10EET.

For more information on how to edit features, from the initial screen of the Features Editor transaction, choose Help -> Application Help.
