In this Customizing activity, you maintain gross wages to enable the system to send information to BSI according to the following requirements:

  • Estimated quarterly gross
As of BSI TaxFactory version 10.0, BSI requires employers to send to BSI TaxFactory their prior quarter's total payroll gross wages. In this Customizing activity you maintain this estimated quarterly gross amount.
The amount you enter in this activity is then sent to BSI TaxFactory via BSI Interface (in parameter 'EG:', line 'EPC').
  • Annual gross payroll
As of BSI TaxFactory version 10.0, BSI requires employers to send to BSI TaxFactory their annual gross payroll amount.
The amount you enter in this activity is the quarterly amount. The system then calculates the annual amount and sends it to BSI TaxFactory via BSI Interface (in parameter 'GP').

Execute this Customizing activity and make your entries.

In the End Date field, you can enter the system high date, and delimit the entry later when a change becomes necessary (for example because of hiring or salary increases).

In the Amountfield, enter the gross wages for an entire quarter.

To maintain gross wages to send the annual gross payroll for San Francisco to BSI, execute this Customizing activity and make the required entries in all fields of the table view. Please note that the fields below must have the following values:

  • Choose New entries to fill in all the entries required.
  • In Tax Company field fill in with 'US01'.
  • In Tax Authorityfield fill in with 'CA01'.
  • In Tax Type field fill in with Payroll Expense Tax (19).
  • In End Date field fill in with the day you delimit as final .
  • In Start Date field fill in with the day you delimit as initial .
  • In Amount field fill in with the gross wages for an entire quarter;

Save your entries.
