OHAVAB008 - Define absence evaluation rules

Evaluation of a sickness is split up in three segments

1. Period paid by the employer
2. Period paid by the
3. Period without legal payment

In the standard examples for legal sickness handling are implemented.

Define for Your evaluation rules the conditions how a splitting should be done.

The valid segments are implemented by SAP since they are based on legal requirements. The incoming absence valuation rule that is given by the absence type itself is changes according to the actual segment to another absence valuation rule.

If, for example, an absence type XXXX that defines a sickness is regularily evaluated by absence valuation rule 01, You can specify how this should be changed in the employer's period, the insurancy agency's period, and the period outside legal payment.

This could be 01 is changed to absence valuation rule 10 in the first case, to 11 in the second, and to 12 in the third case.

All absence valuation rules that You want to change to have to be defined in activiy step Describe absence valuation rules.
