OHAWCWT21 - Assign Annual Value 'Accommodation Allowance' to Wage Types

You can assign the specification annual accommodation allowance to wage types (for the value A from the SARS housing formula). You do this through processing class 64 (Determination of Annual Value for Accommodation), by indicating whether or not the employee qualifies for a housing allowance.

You must first create the wage types before you perform this action.

1. Select the 'Annual Value Accommodation Allowance' table.
2. Choose 'Details'.
3. Choose 'Next entry' to scroll through wage types and select the wage type in question.
4. Select processing class 64.

• Choose specification 1 to assign the value for annual housing for the wage type.

• Choose specification 2 to create an annual housing amount from an hourly rate of pay.

• Choose specification 3 to enter an annual housing amount directly into the system (this will override an amount calculated by the housing formula).

• Choose 0 if the annual housing specification does not apply to the wage type.

1. Save the entry.
