The skills priorities are the central entities of your workplace skills plans (WSP). You specify the skills priorities of your company for the year ahead and than use them for your training and event management.

At first, you have to decide on which level you want to specify the skills priorities. If you use the National Qualification Framework (NQF) functionality in the SAP system, you can choose to use qualifications, unit standards or outcomes. Otherwise, you should use qualifications. Note: You can only use one level for all the skills priorities within the same time period (usually one year).

Qualifications

You use qualifications from your qualification catalog (transaction OOQA click here). Additionaly, you can specify NQF information for these qualifications (transaction PP01 click here, country-specific infotype NQF Qualifications). Note:You should not use qualifications from your NQF catalog! The qualifications from the NQF catalog should not be linked directly to a business event (type).

Unit standards

If you use the NQF, you can use the unit standards from your NQF catalog.

Outcomes

If you use the NQF, you can use the outcomes from your NQF catalog.

  1. Execute the activity.
  2. Enter the plan variant, the validity range, the skills priority number and select a skills priority via value-help.
  3. You can additionaly specify skills priorities per organizational unit.
  4. Save your entries.
