OHBEN6110 - Define Point Types

In this IMG activity, you define the types of the retirement benefit points. You use these types to categorize the retirement benefit points and to define the point values.

The following sample entries are the standard point types. If you define points of these standard types, the standard system actions are as follows:

• Job Grade Point

The system determines the points based on the job grades definitions in the IMG activity Define Job Grades

• Seniority Point

The system uses the calculation process that you specify in the IMG activity Define Points to calculate seniority.

• Appraisal Point

The system reads the employee's appraisal from record of the Pers. Appraisals JP infotype (0147) -> Normal appraisal sub type 1.

• Age Point

The system uses employee's birthday saved in the infotype to calculate age.

• User Defined Point

When you define this point type, specify which information the system should use to determine points. The data source is a combination of the following:

• Infotype Number

• Subtype Number

• Field Name

• None

You must define this point type, which is necessary for defining how to calculate point values.
