OHBEN63234 - Define Basis Point Value Calculation Formulas

In this step, you define the formulas for calculating the basis retirement benefit point value of the current period.

The basis point is the point value assigned to the employee according to the employee's status prior to any deduction or adjustment.

• You have defined the point value in Define Point Values

• You have defined the calculation factor parameters in Define Calculation Factor Parameters

• You have defined the rounding rules in Define Rounding Rules

• You can use more than one calculation factor parameters in one formula

• You can only define one calculation formula for a specified retirement benefit point.

• You can only assign one rounding rule.

Refer to the sample entries to create your own calculation formulas.

You can create the formulas with the following elements:

• PNTTBL: represents the relevant retirement benefit point value, which is defined in Customizing for Define Point Values

• PNTCLF###: represents the Calculation Factor Parameters, ### is the number used to differentiate factor parameters

• Operators: includes '+' (addition), '-' (subtraction) , '*' (multiplication), '/' (division)

• Figures

• Parenthesis
