OHBEN6333 - Define Calculation Formulas for Point Value of Current Period

In this IMG activity, you define how the system calculates the point value of the current period.

• You have defined the calculation formula parameters for different points in Define Calculation Factor Parameters. Only the pre-defined parameters for the same point can be used in the formula.

• You have defined the formulas for calculating basis point value in Define Basis Point Value Calculation Formulas. If you select the Reuse BP Form indicator, the system uses the same formula to calculate the point value of the current period.

In the standard solution, the system calculates the point value to be assigned in the current period by the following formula:

Point value of current period = basis point - point value to be reduced

Create the formulas with the following elements:

• BASPNT: represents the basis point value, which is calculated by the formula defined in the IMG activity Define Basis Point Value Calculation Formulas

• PNTTBL: represents the benefit point value, which is defined in Customizing of Define Point Values

• PNTCLF###: represents the Calculation Factor Parameters, ### is the number used to differentiate factor parameters. You can use more than one calculation formula parameters in one formula.

• Operators: includes '+' (addition), '-' (subtraction) , '*'(multiplication), '/' (division)

• Figures

• Parenthesis

You can modify the calculation result of the formula defined here by creating implementations in BAdI: Calculate Point Value of Current Period.
