OHBEN6440 - Specify Point Allocation Target Plans

If you implement the Retirement Benefit Point System, in this step, you determine how to allocate points to the target plans on a basis of each combination of the following parameters:

• Retirement benefit point

• Point Allocation group

• Point Allocation course

Each entry represents how much the point is allocated to a target plan. A specific point can be allocated to more than one target plans. In that case, you need create one entry for one target plan with same information of the parameters above. You can specify the fixed point value or the percentage of total point value to be allocated.

You have completed settings in the following IMG activities:

• Define Allocation Group

• Define Allocation Courses for Allocation Groups

If a point is allocated to more than one plans, and each plan has different point allocation methods. The system prioritizes the fixed value allocation over rate allocation.

You implement the following retirement benefit plans in your company:

• Corporate-type defined contribution pension plan

• Pre-paid retirement allowance plan

• Contract-type defined benefit pension plan

You use the Job Grad point as calculation base of basis payment for all these plans. The allocation rule is as follows:

• For employees who participant in the corporate-type DC plan, he or she is entitled to 10 points;

• For employee who are not participant of DC plan, he or she is entitled to 10 points in the pre-paid retirement benefit allowance plan;

• The rest of the job grade points are allocated to the contract-type DB plan.

In this case, you define two allocation courses as follows:

Course A: For participants of corporate-type DC plan
