OHBEN7243 - Define Participation Eligibility Requisites

In this step, you define the participant eligibility requisites for corporate pension plans. Only the employees who meet all the requisites can be enrolled into a specific corporate pension plan. Two steps are required:
- Define the eligibility requisites to be used for checking
- You can define the following standard requisites here:
- Age
- Only when an employee's age falls within the range from the lowest to the highest age, he or she is eligible to participate in a specific corporate pension plan.
- Seniority
- You define the range of required years of services to be qualified for a corporate pension plan.
- Job Type
- You assign one or more job types to a specifc plan. Only the employees at the job types are participant eligible for this plan.
- Participation Period
- For Employees Pension Fund plans, you need to set the participation period in the basis part as a prerequisite.
- Assign the defined requisites to a specific corporate pension plan.
You have defined the job types in Define Job Types
To calculate seniority, you must have defined the calculation process in Customizing for Define Calculation Process under Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Evaluation Basis -> Service Calculation.
You are not allowed to define eligibility requisites for the personal-type defined contribution pension plans.
