OHBEN7412 - Generate Assignment Periods

In this step, you complete the following tasks:

1. Generate Assignment Periods

Execute the Assignment Period Generation (CP) report (HJPUCP_ASNPRD) to generate the assignment periods for the pre-defined Benefit Resources Assignment Period parameters.

For example, if the Assignment Period parameter is defined as Quarterly, you create all the assignment periods within the specified years, which are four connected periods in a year.

1. Check Assignment Periods

Check or modify the generated assignment periods in the Benefit Resources Assignment Period table view (V_T7JPCP_ASNPERD). The system calculates the benefit resources according to the data in this table.

You have defined the period parameters in Define Assignment Period Parameters.

The Retirement Benefit Resource Calculation and Update report (HJPUCP_BRCAL) refers to the calculation periods in the Benefit Resources Assignment Period table view (V_T7JPCP_ASNPERD) to update employees' records in the Retirement Benefit Resource Management JP infotype (0903).
