SAP E-Book

In this step, you define the calculation formula for calculating the contribution of benefit. These formulas are defined for each calculation group in a specific plan.

You can define only one formula for a calculation group.

You can use multiple calculation factor parameters in one formula.

Note

The calculation basis parameters and the calculation factor parameters must have been assigned to the same calculation group.

You can use numeric values directly in the formula.

You can create the formulas with the following elements:

  • CALBAS: represents the Calculation Basis Parameter
  • CALFAC###: represents the Calculation Factor Parameters, ### is the number used to differentiate factor parameters
  • EMPSTD: represents the employer standard premium
  • PARSTD: represents the participant standard premium
  • Operators: includes '+' (addition), '-' (subtraction) , '*'(multiplication) and '/' (division)
  • Figures
  • Parentheses

If the calculation result of the formula cannot meet you requirements, you can use BAdI: Modify Contribution of Current Period to modify the calculated contribution amount.
