OHBEN7433 - Define Decision Factors for Reassessment Rate

For a cash balance plan or similar cash balance plan, you use the re-assessment rate to define an interest rate to be credited to the virtual individual account balance for the participant.

In this step, you define the decision factors that you use to define the re-assessment rate.

The system provides standard Decision Factor Types.

Refer to the sample entries to create your own decision factors, and note the following:

• Set the Pre.Birthday Check indicator only when the decision factor type is Age

• When you define a decision factor as User Defined Decision Factor type, specify the data source by infotype, sub-type and field name

• If you only use one decision factor to define calculation factor parameter. The decision factor needs to be set as type: None. Therefore, you must define a decision factor of type: None.
