OHBEN7643 - Define Records and File Structures

By completing the following steps, you define content of a data files:

1. For a specific combination of corporate pension plan, external institution, form category; specify the data structure for each type of records
2. Set data source and record formatting for items of pre-defined structures

The standard data sources are fixed values or specified by infotype, sub-type and field name.

If the standard data sources cannot meet your requirement, you can create implementations in the following methods of BAdI: Define Employee Selection and Data Retrieval Methods:

• Fill Header, Trailor and End Records of Data File

• Fill Service Records of Data File

• You have defined the data file specification for the combination of corporate pension plan, external institution, and form category in Define Data File Specifications

• You have defined DDIC structure for the data output according to the data file specification

You can create ten record types for each form category at maximum.

The system provides the sample settings for the following form categories:

• ATTRIB: Employee Attributes Data

• DISQUA: Participant Disqualification Data

• PRMCHG: Employer Premium Amount Change Data

If the sample codings do not meet your requirements, or you need data specification for other forms, create your implementation in BAdI: Define Employee Selection and Data Retrieval Methods.

Refer to requirements from external institutions for creating entries in this activity.
