OHBEN8133 - Define Calculation Factor Parameters

In this step, you define the calculation factor parameters. You use these parameters to comprise formula for contribution calculation.
To define a calculation factor parameter, you need complete the following tasks:
- Determine decision factors and key dates for data retrieval.
- Determine limitation of each decision factor and relevant parameter value for specific validity periods.
If the retrieved decision factor on the key date meets the limitation, the respective parameter value is used in the calculation formula.
- You have defined decision factors in Define Decision Factors.
- You have defined the calculation process in Define Calculation Process.
Definition of each calculation factor parameter is based on a pre-paid retirement allowance plan and a contribution calculation group. You can define more than one calculation factor parameters for each combination.
To the maximum, you can only use two decision factors together to define a calculation factor parameter. You must fill out both decision factors; if one of them is not in use, you need to define it as None type.
You can define rate with four decimal places and factor value with three digits and five decimal places.
Note:
- Make sure you enter the upper limit value for levels of decision factor.
- When you choose the key dates related to the fiscal year, the system refers to the fiscal year setting for the specified company code.
You can define a parameter as the following types:
- Rate
- Amount
- Factor
Your compamy uses employees' seniority at the start date of current fiscal year to define calculation factor value as follows:
