In this step, you define the request type limit grouping and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this when you want to differentiate employees by using additional criteria exclusive of salary, age and seniority.

For example, you want to assign employees of benefit area BK and employee subgroup of Hourly rate/wage to the grouping GRP1.

You create as the following:

  1. Expand the structure of feature RQLGR, choose the top node and choose Create nodes from the application toolbar. In the popup window, choose Field for decision operation and continue. In the following popup window, you choose Benefit area item and click the Transfer button. Thus, you add the element Benefit area to the feature structure.
  2. Choose the node of Benefit area and go to Create nodes, select BK Model area PBS Korea in the popup window. Thus, you assign employees to the benefit area BK.
  3. Choose the node of BK Model area BPS Korea and go to Create nodes, repeatedly choose Field for decision operation and select Employee subgroup, click Transfer.
  4. Choose the node of Employee subgroup and go to Create nodes, choose Hourly rate/wage in the popup window.
  5. Choose the node of Hourly rate/wage and go to Create nodes, you select the Return value button and continue. Choose the grouping GRP1.
  6. Save your entries.

You must have defined the request type limit grouping in the previous implementation step.

You determine how employees are assigned to groupings by the feature RQLGR.

For information on the structure and use of the feature, choose Go to -> Documentation from within the decision tree. For additional general information about features, see the SAP Library (Human Resources -> HR Tools -> Features Editor).

We provide you the user exit HR_BPS_FILL_PME97 if you need to add new fields to the structure CI_PME97.
