OHEGDTSEPA030 - Check Assignment of Purpose Codes to Wage Type

You can assign a purpose code to each wage type for which there is to be a transfer.

In this Customizing activity, you can check the purpose codes assigned to the wage types. If you use your own wage types, you can define a purpose code for them.

The purpose code that you assign to a wage type must be entered in the Customizing activity Check Assignment of Purpose Codes to Country Grouping.

A corresponding purpose code is already assigned to some transfer wage types in the standard SAP system.

1. Clarify whether you have flagged your own wage types for the data medium exchange.
1. If you use your own wage types, enter them if they require a purpose code.

If you also use your own wage types for payments using the master data (for example, salary advance), note that you also need to enter them here if they require a purpose code.

1. If you use your own wage types, assign them the corresponding purpose code.

Note

Payments with a wage type that is entered in this table view without a purpose code are transmitted with the value SPACE.

Payments with a wage type that is not entered in this table view are also transmitted with the value SPACE.
