In this step you can assign miscellaneous plan indicator for each miscellaneous plan created under the benefit plan type Miscellaneous Plans. This is an optionalcustomising step.

You do not need to carry out any activities in this step if your requirements are met by the standard SAP-delivered table entries.

You must have previously defined your miscellaneous plan types in the preceding implementation step: Define Benefit Plan Types.

No action required if your requirements are met by the standard SAP-delivered table entries.

However, if this is not the case, for each miscellaneous plan created under the benefit plan type Miscellaneous Plans, define a corresponding miscellaneous plan indicator to meet your own requirements. See Example, for more details.

In Flexible Benefits for Great Britain (GB FlexBens), there are three new plan types created under the benefit plan type Miscellaneous Plans:

  • Holiday Buy/Sell Plan is assigned the indicator BS
  • Personal Pension Plan is assigned the indicator PE
  • Company Car Plan is assigned the indicator CC

Note:

The indicators BS, PEand CCare pre-delivered by SAP to handle the GB FlexBens Miscellaneous Plans HolidayBuy/Sell, Personal Pension and Company Car.

However, you can also apply your own customer name range to this customising table, within your own user exit or BAdI if you require special handling of Miscellaneous Plans. The first letter of your name range must be a digit (0-9), for example beginning with 10 or 1A, allowing you to distinguish between different benefits plans.
