OHHIX0013C - Restrict Masking Date of Birth to Specific Personnel Areas

In this step, you define the personnel areas in which the date and year of birth of an employee are to be masked in the search results of searches for persons in the PREM collective search help and in the object manager.

This makes sense when there are legal reasons for not showing the date and year of birth for employees in specific personnel areas but this data can still be displayed for all other employees.

As soon as you make entries in this step, you override the system-wide settings that you made in the step Activate Masking Date of Birth in Search Results using the switch in the SEAK group with the semantic ID BIRTH. Regardless of whether you have assigned the value 1 or 2 to the switch, the defined conditions are valid.

In the previous step, you have assigned the value 1 or the value 2 to the ADMIN BIRTH switch.

In the standard system, this table does not contain any entries. The conditions you have defined using the ADMIN BIRTH switch are valid.

Enter the personnel areas in which employees's birthdates are to be masked.

Select the Mask Year Only checkbox if you only want to mask an employee's year of birth in a personnel area.

Note

The entries override the settings you have defined with the ADMIN BIRTH switch.
