In this Custmoizing activity, you define calendars. A calendar specifies the actual dates within a year for a period type.

For example, for period type Q (quarterly), index 1 in year 2016 defines the following dates for the period: 01.01.2016 to 31.03.2016.

To define a calendar:

1. Specify the reporting period type.
2. Specify the current reporting year and period index.
3. Specify the next reporting year and period index that follows the current reporting year and period.
4. Specify the start and end dates for the reporting period.
