In this Customizing activity, you create reporting areas.

A reporting area is an organizational unit of the enterprise that should prepare independent reporting. For example:

• Legal entity

• Detached subdivision

• Controlled unit

• Department or division

To define a reporting area:

1. Specify the name of the reporting area.
2. Select a country grouping.
3. Enter a description for the reporting area.
