In this Customizing activity, you set the order and other visual behavior of the operations that you perform on the logical report using transaction HR99RU_REPSE_MAINT.

To define the operation UI behavior:

  1. Specify a country grouping.
  2. Specify a logical report type.
  3. Select an operation type. (For more information about operation type, see Define Operations.)
  4. Specify the logical report operation order.
  5. Select an icon.

You can use the field Operation mode to enable the operation to run in background mode in Reporting Session Maintenance (transaction HR99RU_REPSE_MAINT). All operations that are enabled for background operations are displayed in the submenu Background in the operations menu in the RMS user interface.

  • Operations that are set with value Any type are displayed in the main menu of the operations in the user interface as well as in the submenu Background.
  • Operations that are set with values Only online or Only background are displayed either in the main menu or the submenu Background.
  • Operations with value None are not displayed in the user interface.
