In this step you can define the type of relationship between your employees and their relatives.

You wish to save the personal data of the spouse or the children.

Check whether you may or must save the data of relatives of your employees because this is prescribed by a legal regulation or a collective agreement.

The SAP Standard System contains the current relationship types for relatives.

On no account should you change the SAP standard setting. For example, only the family type "2" (Child) has additional fields where one can enter additional information about the children. However, you can add other types of relationship.

  1. Check the SAP standard setting.
  2. Add new entries if necessary.

Determine the time constraint of the new entry.
The subtypes of the infotype 21 and of the Belgian view 138 for this infotype must match. That is why they are maintained together in the module.
