OHIC0119 - Define Company Department

In this step, you create company departments in which reduced hours are worked or can be worked.

Please note, that the third character of the company department key refers to the department category:

• xx0

Reduced hours operate in this company department, but the employees themselves do not participate in it. Employees who are assigned to this company department cannot report any hours not worked.

• xx1

Reduced hours operate in this company department and the employees participate in it. Employees who are assigned to this company department, report their hours not worked using wage type M400.

The standard SAP System contains preset sample departments.

1. Enter the key, designation and validity period of the company department. Please make a note of the meaning given above for the last character in the key.
2. Specify how days of unpaid sick leave are to be settled.
3. Enter the reduced hours percentage.
