OHIC0547 - Date Specifications
SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up CPI1466 during BackupThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this step, you define which date types you use for the master data sheet according to the Date Specifications infotype (0041). You assign a symbol and a text element to each date type.
- In the Determine work area dialog box, enter the identification code of the master data sheet that you want to edit.
- Assign a symbol name to the date type.
- Enter the text element in which you want to display the symbol.
- Save your entries.
To avoid a random output of the date types, do not assign the entry symbol to the various data origins.
Date type content is assigned in the customer system. Therefore, check check if the date type used in the standard system is appropriate for the customer system.
If you do not use the Date Specifications infotype, you can delete the assignment of the data origin DA to the master data sheet in the step Assign Data Origins, provided the assignment exists. This prevents warning messages from appearing when you start the master data sheet report.
