Porcessing seniority involves:

• defining the length of service,

• valuating the seniority bonus.

In this IMG activity you can specify the values that the system will display as default values for processing seniority:

• calculation method

• evaluation method

• base amount for calculating the seniority bonus to be paid to an employee.

• percentage to be used for calculating this amount.

You must previously have defined the following for you company:

• pay scale type(s),

• tax modifier(s),

• pay scale group(s),

• pay scale level(s).

SAP contains model entries.

Adjust the model entries to your own requirements.

Adjust or create new entries if necessary.

1. Define the organizational structure of your company.
2. Define the validity period.
3. Define the valuation method.
4. Define the evaluation method.
5. Define the base amount for calculating the seniority bonus.
6. Define the percentage rate to be used for calculating the seniority bonus.
7. Mark whether or not the bonus is subject to indirect valuation.
