Normally, statutory pay (SxP) is paid on every contract, by splitting the statutory amount for the person across the various contracts under which the employee is paid on the days that he or she receives SxP. The amount of the payments on each contract are derived from the Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) coming from the contract that is being payrolled compared to the AWE coming from the total of all the contracts.

In the Multiple Employment Process Exclusion (08MEX) feature you can specify contracts that, even though they are aggregated for AWE purposes, will not receive SxP. SxP Payment is the only Multiple Employment process that can have business input on whether a contract is included or excluded.

The highest level of exclusion decision tree must be the process to be excluded from. For SxP payment the process type is:

1 - SxP Payment

The next level should define as closely as possible the Employee Grouping, Hours, Hourly Rate Wage Type or Contract Type that groups the employees to be excluded.
