OHIGBPBSDRLDWN02 - Set up RPUDIRG0 to derive and check data from an HR perspective

An entry in table T5GPBS_ALL (Group 'DRIL', Key 'SWAU') allows you to switch between two authorisation check methods:

• The standard check is done against each cost center, internal order or WBS element. If authorisation is missing for an object, the user will be informed via the error log. In this case, the table entry must be set to ' ', which is the default setting.

• If the entry in table T5GPBS_ALL is set to 'X' a cost object check against the related profit center will be performed.

An entry in table T5GPBS_ALL (Group 'DRIL', Key 'SWDE') allows you to switch between two derivation methods:

• The standard derivation method takes CO documents and derived the relevant HR documents for the CO documents and then provides a drilldown in to the HR documents from the CO cost objects. The alternative derivation method takes HR documents directly. This is significantly faster.

• If the entry in table T5GPBS_ALL is set to 'X' data derivation from HR documents will be performed.

By default, the table entry (Group 'DRIL', Key 'SWAU') is set to blank and the check will be done against each single cost object. The authorisation object P_DRL_COST includes the fields controlling area, cost center, internal order, project and profit center.

By default, the table entry (Group 'DRIL', Key 'SWDE') is set to blank and the data will be derived from CO documents (table COVP) and not derived from HR documents (table PPIOX).

1) If the entries in table T5GPBS_ALL do not meet your requirements then adapt them to your needs.

2) Create user profiles and authorisations for the drilldown authorisation object P_DRL_COST.
