The pre-released customising does NOT use the Additional Payments/Deductions infotype (0015) when calculating an employees salary. The switch is delivered blank, not switched to X. (View Variant VV_T5GPBSALL2_01.). If you wish to use the Additional Payments/Deductions infotype (0015) when calculating an employee's salary, then change the switch to 'X'.

Most universities will NOT use the Additional Payments/Deductions infotype (0015) when calculating an employees salary and so can omit this step.
