In this step, if the Salary Calculation used for the HESA Current salary at reference date calculation interface varies with Employee Grouping or Pay Scale, then AFTER copying the standard Wage Type (grouping) HSAL as many time as is required, it will be necessary to attach each copy to the correct Employee Grouping or Pay Scale using the feature GSALC.

Try to use only one salary calculation.

Most universities will only have one Salary Calculation used for the HESA salary and so can omit this step.

The customising is similar to the customising done for the annual salary calculation on infotype Basic Pay (0008); different wage types can be assigned.
