OHIGBPBSTPS0505 - Identify 'Safeguarded' wagetype maintenance

The wage maintenance type defines the reason for wage maintenance and describes it according to payroll accounting aspects.

In this activity you identify which wage maintenance type (subtype of infotype 'Wage maintenance' (0052)) correspond to safeguard of employees salary . Which current wagetypes from infotype 'Basic Pay'(0008) are to be compared against which guaranteed wagetypes from the 'Wage maintenance' infotype is determined in table 'Wage Types for Standard Wage Maintenance'(T539S).

This information is used to evaluate the amount of annual salary rate of the employees as well as actual salary paid to part-time employees.

If an employee has a safeguarded element in his/hers salary or social priority allowance an 'S' should be returned in theTPS Annual return in field ' Safeguarded Salary/Fast Track' of 'Service Annual Return details' records.
