OHIGBPBSTPS0601 - Set eligibility for TPS Annual Salary

Standard wage type grouping 'TPSA' is used for calculation of TPS Annual Salary Rate.

A full anuual salary rate in whole pounds will be shown in the return, even where the actual salary paid has been reduced due to sickness or maternity leave or industrial action. For part-time teachers the equivalent annual salary rate that would have been payable if the teacher worked full time will be evaluated.

The annual salary must include any pensionable allowances paid to the teacher, but exclude any non-pensionable additions such as overtime. For teachers not in pensionable employemnt the annual salry rate must include any allowance or addition paid under the terms of the STPCD.

All wage types that are to be taken into account for the TPS Annual salary rate calculation are specified in this step and added to the Wage Type Group 'TPSA' (View Variant V_T539J_GB_TPSA).

For teachers in concurrent part-time employment who have made a valid part-time election and who recieve different salary rates , an average full-time equivalent salary rate will be calculated. In this case, the average full-tiime equivalent may not correspond with a salary scale point.
