OHIGBPBSWTD03 - Assign Method to Derive Employee Start Date

In this Customizing activity, you assign the method to derive the start date of the employee's relevant period to different employee groups.

To do that, you edit the Determine Method to Derive Employee Start Date (GWTDS) feature in the system.

In the standard system, the return value is 'A'. This means that the start date is taken from the Actions (0000) infotype from the employee's original start date with their current employer (even if the employee was subsequently fired and re-hired while retaining the same personnel number).

Execute this Customizing activity and proceed as follows:
